Hotel Ca' Formenta Venice

During our recent stay at Hotel Ca' Formenta, we were thrilled with the location. Being right opposite S Giorgio Island and the lagoon provided picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere. the selection of bars and restaurants along Via Garibaldi offered a variety of dining options. We also appreciated the proximity to a vaporetto stop, making it easy to explore other parts of Venice. The staff at the hotel were attentive and even acknowledged the birthday of one of our party. They were always friendly and provided helpful local information. The option to enjoy breakfast outside each morning while soaking in the bustling activity was a lovely treat. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the presence of mosquitoes and the higher cost, we found our stay at Hotel Ca' Formenta to be good. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and enjoyable experience.

Good location with lagoon view. Close to vaporetto stop and Piazza San Marco. Friendly staff and simple, adequate breakfast. Nice bars and restaurants nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Venice. The location was excellent, with views over the lagoon and close to the city center and St Mark's Square. The hotel was in a really local part of the city, unique and authentic. It was also surrounded by great restaurants, with dining options. The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a wonderful experience.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Great location, peaceful with canal views. Good breakfast, nice staff. Water taxi drop-off and private berth. Comfortable bed, clean room. Close to Biennale sites, surrounded by restaurants.

Was all great.

We had a wonderful stay at a budget-friendly hotel. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the airport and close to a boat stop for easy transportation. The hotel had a charming character and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding area. The breakfast provided a good selection of both sweet and savory options, satisfying everyone's taste. the hotel offered great value for money and we would definitely recommend it to others.

There was one negative aspect of our stay. The hotel reception staff were highly inconsiderate and unhelpful when it came to cancelling our reservation due to illness.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location was perfect - nestled between two vaporetto stops, it was easy to get around Venice without all the crowds of tourists. The fact that it was in a quiet area made it even better. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to address any concerns or requests. I was pleasantly surprised by the basic amenities provided in the room, especially the balcony facing the lagoon - the view was simply breathtaking. Lastly, the breakfast, though basic, was still tasty and satisfying. It was included in the price, which was a great value for money.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were enjoyable.
